On Wednesday, October 24, around 2,500 event and meeting professionals gathered at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center for the 2012 BizBash IdeaFest New York. Revamped with a new conference program, the one-day expo included a single track for speakers like the Tribune Media Group’s events and sponsorships manager Haley Carlson, Wired senior editor Bill Wasik, and the Children’s Book Council’s executive director Robin Adelson, as well as the presentation of the Readers’ Choice Awards.
