To mark the debut of its limited-edition chair—a loveseat designed in partnership with Karim Rashid—Veuve Clicquot hosted two cocktail parties, one in New York on March 6 and the other in Los Angeles two days later. Modeled after an 18th-century armchair, the furniture piece is a six-foot-long, four-foot-high pink plexiglass structure (with its own removal ice bucket) made in Italy. Veuve senior brand manager Sapna Santos-Canet worked with Casper Sue Yaqoub of the Susan Magrino Agency for the event on the East Coast, and Veuve’s west region director, Thomas Boulec, oversaw the affair in Los Angeles with pH Factor Event Design’s Pamela Haber.
