In the event industry, the holiday season typically brings icy-blue hues, glittery details, and tinsel galore. And while this year many may feel like we're relying on virtual visits to get in the spirit, there are still some jolly junctures taking place in person around the country.

Here, we've rounded up six hotels' safe and festive fetes. From specialty food and beverages to Insta-worthy igloos, these hotel pop-ups are sure to leave attendees feeling warm inside. (Tip: You'll want to light your pine-scented candle and grab a glass of eggnog for this roundup!)

Unscripted Durham
Located on the Patio of Unscripted Durham is a winter-themed pop-up dining experience. Guests can expect the ultimate winter-wonderland adventure with private igloos, weekly entertainment, and signature bites and drinks. The picturesque festivities are crafted in a socially distanced setting while providing scenic views of downtown Durham, N.C. The igloos, which accommodate up to 10 people, can be reserved for a two-hour minimum until March 2021. Additionally, an overnight stay package is available allowing guests to retire to one of the guest rooms after their cozy evening. (A food and beverage credit is an included bonus!)

The third-floor Conrad Lounge and North Terrace exterior space of the Conrad Washington, D.C., have been transformed into an Après Ski-inspired environment. Offered as part of the full dinner service, the experience gushes with chic decor, leaving guests feeling as if they have journeyed to the Alps. Inspired by the traditional flavors of French and Italian alpine cuisine, the menu features a contemporary take on dishes such as tartiflette, fromage et charcuterie, and more. Guests can also enjoy sipping on classic winter cocktails and a daily punch. Available until Dec. 31, a daily lunch and dinner menu are additional options.

Fairmont San Francisco
The Fairmont San Francisco and eight other select Fairmont properties, including Fairmont Austin and Claremont Club & Spa, are offering guests a stay in Santa's “Home” Away from Home, also known as their Santa Suites. (Think a one-bedroom suite decked out in all things Santa-inspired decor.) Each is unique, but all include holiday extras, on-theme decor, and a grand Christmas tree. The packages include overnight accommodations, continental breakfast for up to four guests, a holiday-themed hot chocolate amenity (providing ingredients for both kids and adult beverages), holiday cookies, and a DIY gingerbread house kit. The North Pole-like experience is available until Jan. 2. Note: No promises, but some guests may even have the opportunity to meet Santa himself throughout the season.

Nashville’s Bobby Hotel Rooftop is the place to be this winter for an Insta-worthy yet cozy experience. Guests can socially distance in style with personal heated igloos (accommodating five people) and heated cabins (for up to eight). Inside the igloos, guests can find colorful lighting and relaxing interiors. The backdrop is whimsical, with string lights and fireplaces. Warm bites and seasonal cocktails are available, including the hotel’s staple spiced hot chocolate.

Envoy Hotel
Envoy Hotel in Boston has recreated its popular Lookout Rooftop igloo experience for a fourth season. Guests can enjoy the city's skyline and harbor from the comfort of their own cozy igloo. Created by two-time Chopped champion and the hotel’s executive chef Tatiana Rosana, the menu offers a variety of small plates to pair with a large list of specialty libations. Each heated igloo is illuminated by colorful LED lights and includes blankets and comfy seating, forming the ultimate holiday hideaway. Accommodating up to six people, the igloos may be reserved for a maximum of two hours. However, don't fret if all the igloos are occupied—guests can enjoy the main bar's heated enclosure, or take advantage of the new enclosed “ice boxes."

Sitting 27 floors above downtown, the Westin Nashville's L27 Rooftop Lounge is now a winter wonderland. Offering an ice cave-like feel (but with cityscape views), the restaurant has morphed into a “27Below” theme. The space features snowflake-like lighting and blue and white decor accentuated by furs, and is serving up specialty food and drink. Guests can even enjoy a winter-inspired beverage poolside in a wintery tent "ice cave." Private heated and covered cabanas are available for reservations for up to eight people with a $500 food and beverage minimum.
