The Sagamore Hotel has a new 500-square-foot event space with an artsy vibe called the Sagamore Art Video Lounge. Open since December, the Art Video Lounge has a 580-square-foot private screening area with an overhead projector called the Orchid Room, which can double as a boardroom for 16 people. It also accommodates 28 guests theater-style, 24 classroom- or 24 banquet-style, or 50 for cocktail receptions. Crisp white walls get a splash of color from the artwork on display, such as paintings and sculptures by both local and international artists. The lounge can be rented for $500 to $1,000, depending on the season. Audiovisual equipment is available for an additional fee. Discounts are available if groups also book rooms at the hotel. —Vanessa Goyanes
