Latin salsa sounds echoed out onto the terrace as guests arrived and were greeted with eye-catching cocktail mojitos that stood out with glowing green ice cubes representing the spirit of St. Patrick's Day. As an ideal companion to the mojitos, a mini-sampling of Cuban cuisine was handed out around the bayfront terrace, which over looks the docked cruise ships in the Port of Miami and the downtown skyline. Guests were delighted with the exotic flavor and texture of the appetizers that came in the form of ham croquettes, mariquitas and pork chunks mixed with an array of seasoned mushrooms.
Event planners Jackie Roberts, Nalene Rampersaud and Tobie Hollenbeck from A South Florida Event worked closely with Andres Luna from Estefan Enterprises Inc. to ensure a successful merging of the Cuban and Irish cultures to celebrate this unique event.
