‘Happily Divorced’ Season 2 Promotion

To mark the second-season premiere of its sitcom Happily Divorced, TV Land organized a same-sex wedding at XL Nightclub in New York on Tuesday night. Fran Drescher, the star of the show, was ordained for the event, which included a cake designed by Sylvia Weinstock.

TED Conference 2012

Oversize letters spelled out TED as part of the Technology, Entertainment, and Design annual conference's clean, on-brand stage design. The event, which took place February 27 through March 2, brought speakers like Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes to Long Beach, California.

TEDActive 2012

At the TED Conference simulcast event in Palm Springs, known as TEDActive, the light installation "Magical Underwater Thinking With Scott Watson" beckoned guests to take a whirl through its colorful pieces.

Oreo's 100th-Birthday Promotional Stunt

On Tuesday, Oreo and Nabisco hosted flash-mob birthday parties around the world, including one at Mary Brickell Village in downtown Miami, where more than 40 performers broke out in song and dance and there was even an appearance by “Oreo Man.”

Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s ReMix Fund-Raiser

At the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's "Remix" fund-raiser on March 2, Entertaining Company's menu of small plates included a brownie burger. Served with shortbread sliced to look like French fries and strawberry sauce that resembled ketchup, the snack had the deceptive look of a typical slider.

National Golf Expo 2012

The National Golf Expo took place at Boston's Seaport World Trade Center March 2 to 4. An estimated 83 percent of the 20,000 attendees were male, a statistic this year's show took into account with the new Man Cave. Located near the front of the show floor, the area was stocked with plush couches, trivia games, a pool table, flat-screen TVs, and a bar with samples of New England craft beer.

Caesars Entertainment “Escape to Total Rewards” Launch

To launch the next generation of its Total Rewards customer loyalty program, Caesars Entertainment hosted simultaneous concerts in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New Orleans on March 1. Linked to each other via live satellite, the separate promotions essentially became one show. For instance, when Sean "Diddy" Combs took to the stage in New York, his performance was broadcast to large screens in the other cities.

Rogers Digital Media "Nouveau Rouge" Relaunch

Held at Toronto’s Fermenting Cellar on March 1, the launch for Rogers Digital Media’s new look included interactive projections by Phosphorous Media. While standing in a marked spot, guests could point to moving items in the projection to get facts about Rogers Digital Media.

Servicemembers Legal Defense Network 20th Anniversary Dinner

Despite heading into its annual fund-raiser on Saturday night with lower-than-average sponsorship levels, the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network doubled the money raised at last year's event by creating a competitive atmosphere and tracking live text pledges on a 39-foot scoreboard suspended above the stage.

Chicago’s 175th-Birthday Party

Chicago officially became a city on March 4, 1837, which meant that a 175th-birthday party was in order on Sunday. Held at the apropos Chicago History Museum, the afternoon affair had family-friendly educational activities and a four-tier, 80-pound birthday cake created by Vinny Garcia of Bleeding Heart Bakery. Decorated with symbols of the city's various neighborhoods, the organic vanilla bean dessert was topped with vanilla bean frosting and Italian butter cream.
