Women In Film gave out its annual Crystal and Lucy awards Thursday in the Beverly Hilton's international ballroom—a glittering venue that plays host to such cozy Hollywood events as the Golden Globes. To make the space its own, Women in Film executive director Gayle Nachlis worked with producer and designer Tony Schubert of Event Eleven to create a clean, modern look. The stage set included glass panels that lent a sleek, structured look as a backdrop for presenters and honorees; Premiere Displays handled the scenic build and installation. Flowers from Floral Art on tabletops were clusters of three vases, each displaying bright green kermit flowers that supported the uncluttered look, a foil for the ballroom's existing opulent decor.
