LIGHTING: A Curtain Becomes a Screen

Light-emitting diode (LED) technology meets fabric with LED curtains. The versatile heavy black drapery encases a grid of LEDs and offers a cool new way to show patterns, logos, or live performances. A medium-resolution model measures 16 by 33 feet. The curtains hang from a simple pipe and truss setup, and have grommets and sashes on all four sides to allow for simple installation. For a large presentation area, you can connect multiple curtains. An LED floor can accompany the curtains—both require only a 15-amp circuit and are programmable to work with any video or computer source to display ambient images or corporate branding.
