Design/Decor: “Designing Trendz really captures the essence of the theme we say we want to build. Our clientele are premium buyers, so they expect a premium experience. They catered our charity event, and aside from what we planned with them, they brought in additional elements. Having no experience in design myself, Craig Gruzd can really piece together what we want to achieve, and the finished design is beyond expectations.”Valet: “We use a valet service called Gatsby Valet Inc., and we work with Greg Rzeplinski. The valet service is the first touch point to the event, and guests drive cars whose value exceeds $80,000 to 100,000, so it’s important we use a reputable service. Because we’re so close to downtown, we get waves of people very quickly, and logistically they get 350 vehicles parked in an hour. They dress professionally, in suits, chapeau hats, and bow ties, making it a unique service.”

Photographer:
“We use one photographer who's our in-house photographer for events and does our product shoots as well. Ryan Faubert of Rynopolis Studios is excellent at what he does, interacts with the people he’s taking photos of, and you can see it in the images he takes. He erects a 20- by 50-foot projection screen for candid photos that will instantly be shown when he takes them.”

Lighting/Staging:
“I work closely with Joel Dubin from Westbury National Show Systems Ltd. I explain to them what we’re trying to accomplish, and the setup is seamless. They bring in their equipment trucks and do their job in an orderly and timely fashion, and the teardown is just as efficient. They own a lot of materials, and we rent directly from them; they’re not subtracting their rentals out from another supplier. Runways, stages, lighting trusses, sound systems, drapery—they have 20-foot walls and drape them off to give them a softer, more elegant touch. The staging is supplemented with soft, unique lighting, giving it an element of luxury. Our dealership was transformed to appear upscale.”

Music/Entertainment: “Dopey Entertainment provides all of the musical elements of our events. They’re very versatile and can appeal to a variety of guests, and have such a large collection of music. If we need to pick up the tempo or cater to a certain group of people, we can do that on the spot.”
