The Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Downtown is tentatively scheduled to open in early September, before the Toronto International Film Festival. Located in the entertainment district, the 224-room hotel, designed by Page + Steele Architects, will include two meeting spaces—a small boardroom and a 1,700-square-foot room that holds 100 in a theatre-style set-up. There will also be a restaurant (the Great Canadian Grill), a bar area (the Pavilion Lounge), and an indoor swimming pool.
