Fashion Cares unveiled the marketing materials for its June 4 fund-raiser, "Bollywood Cowboy," at a preparty held at Revival. From the beautifully designed keepsake postcards to the marketing posters by the Marketing Store, the overall theme, which combined the Far East and the Wild West, was maintained from start to finish.
G-string-clad male models, complete with blue body paint, pink cowboy boots, and red cowboy hats, danced atop bars and onstage to Bollywood beats and country twang by DJ Zahra and the Funkasia Crew, all the while basking in lighting by Westbury National Show Systems. Eatertainment served a wide variety of finger foods, including Belgian frites and yellow beet caviar rolls.
If the launch party was any indication, the 19th annual fund-raiser on June 4, 2005 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre will be a memorable one for guests and organizers alike.
