2 New In-Office Catering Options in Toronto

Susan O'Neill
December 15, 2010

Here are two restaurants that deliver a range of food options for working lunches or staff celebrations.

1. Rawlicious, which recently opened a new location in Yorkville, offers a full range of organic and vegan dishes. The restaurant, also in the Junction, can provide a selection of items like taco wraps (made with seasoned nut loaf, guacamole, chopped tomatoes, shredded Romaine, salsa, and nut cheese) and pad Thai (made with raw kelp noodles) for a raw vegan lunch. Everything on the menu is dairy- and wheat-free. A minimum order of $100 is required, and delivery is available in the downtown core.

2. Goed Eten, a new café on Ossington Avenue, offers a variety of platters for group events, including charcuterie with breads, Canadian cheese trays, and crudités with veggie dip. Platters are priced at about $3 per person with a minimum 12-person order. Hot and cold hors d'oeuvres include items like tandoori chicken skewers, Guinness beef stew croquettes, salami and grape skewers, and croustillant with smoked salmon. Hors d'oeuvres range from $18 to $26 per dozen. Custom menus can be designed, and the restaurant can arrange staffing, delivery, and rentals for private functions.
