Toronto’s Petite & Sweet is what owners Casper Hydar, Yolanda Gampp, and Elle Daftarian call an "events and lifestyle boutique.” The concept sprang from the merging of two different businesses: Hydar’s event planning firm Madison 8 Event Laboratories and Gampp’s SweetFix, which provides custom dessert tables for parties. In its light and airy new storefront, which opened April 22, Petite & Sweet offers handmade confections (like milk chocolate bars wrapped in handmade Japanese paper), flower arrangements, and unique gifts. It also serves as a showroom for client meetings and event-friendly products such as candy and gum ball stations. There is also a customizable "product bar" where you can engrave corporate logos on a variety of brandable items, including soap, hand towels, jugs, trays, and furniture.
