The Windfall Lounge and Grill was the scene for a party introducing the new book Elvis and You, by Laura Victoria Levin and John O'Hara, sponsored by Penguin Books.
Executive Chef Doug Gruen usually serves Southwestern-influenced American fare, but prepared many of the King's favorites on this night--meatloaf cut into cubes and presented as fine hors d'oeuvres, and a sweet butter, cream cheese and almond paste mold for spreading on toast points. Peanut Butter and Company prepared peanut butter and banana sandwiches, deep-fried in butter, as additional Elvis-inspired finger food.
