New Venue
Last month, Centerfest, the opening celebration of the North/South building, the new one-million-square-foot addition to the Orange County Convention Center was held in Orlando. As part of the festivities, characters from Seaworld greeted guests, Levy Restaurants fed the guests and New Orleans-inspired band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy rocked them into the night. The building itself has a special system that lights the outside shell-like structures in purple as the sun goes down, creating an image so striking it can be seen from quite a distance.
