'GQ' BANS OWN AWARDEE FROM AFTER-PARTY FOR NAZI JOKE: Comedian Russell Brand was banned from the after-party for the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London after he joked about the Nazi history of sponsor Hugo Boss. Gawker: "Any of you who know a little bit about history and fashion will know that Hugo Boss made the uniforms for the Nazis," Brand told a sideswiped audience at London's Royal Opera House. 3. A.E.G. EXECUTIVES CLEARED IN MICHAEL JACKSON DEATH: In a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Michael Jackson's family, a judge dismissed two A.E.G. Live executives named in the suit but will allow the case to continue against the company itself. Reuters: "A.E.G. COAST TO COAST:  Vacation Express has added new nonstop charter flights for corporate groups from New York, Newark, Atlanta, Nashville, and Cincinnati to Montego Bay, Jamaica. The flights will begin in 2014.

BOSTON:  Friends of Boston's Homeless will host its third annual Harvest Dinner at the farm at Boston's Long Island Shelter on September 19. Prepared by four local chefs, menu items will include roasted pumpkin and sage soufflĂ©, beet fusili, and roasted pumpkin cornmeal porridge.

The M Bar & Lounge at Mandarin Oriental, Boston hosts a Game Day Pop-Up on days that the Red Sox are playing at home. Menu items include New England lobster roll sliders and Peronis.

ORLANDO:  The Westin Orlando Universal Boulevard broke ground on a meeting and special event center that will add 5,576 square feet. With total meeting space soon to reach 13,685 square feet, the hotel will be able to accommodate events for groups of 370 for banquet settings and 330 for meetings. The space is slated to open in February.

The Yosemite Gardens Park development team selected Rim Hospitality as its hospitality development and management company. The hotel complex, 45 miles from Yosemite National Park, will include at least 1,600 hotel rooms, a retail center, a youth baseball and sports complex, and a 100-acre botanical gardens. The project is expected to break ground sometime next year, and Rim Hospitality will select the hotel brands.

Conference Hound has acquired OnTrade, a Miami-based lead generation and deal marketplace for the B-to-B sector of the travel and trade show industry. The company will continue to be based in San Francisco and led by current Conference Hound C.E.O. Bruce Carlisle.
