In summer 2007, Boston’s public radio and television stations moved into the new 309,000-square-foot WGBH Building, which features a 30-by-35-foot LED mural visible from the highway. Event space at the Brighton facility includes the egg-shaped 208-seat Yawkey Theater, used for film screenings; the 1,768-square-foot Fraser Studio, which can host live performances; and the 4,500-square-foot Calderwood Studio, which holds 400. Additionally, the 1,340-square-foot lobby can be used as a welcome area, and walking tours of the production facilities can be arranged.
