Harbor View Hotel's new Water Street Restaurant offers panoramic views of the oceanfront with its white paneled windows. A neutral palette of white columns and dark hardwood floors easily complements any event's theme or color palette. The space seats 100 and receives 200 for cocktails.

4. DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cape Cod - Hyannis

A new addition to DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Cod - Hyannis' 9,929 square feet of meeting space is the Cape Cod room, a new function space on the lobby level seating 200 banquet style and 250 theater style. The largest function room is the Regatta, holding 450 theater style and 300 for banquets.

5. Asana at Mandarin Oriental Boston

A new menu at Asana in Mandarin Oriental Boston reinvents the use of local ingredients with a contemporary interpretation of classic American cuisine. It features appetizers like Lobster Beignets and dinner entrees such as Roasted Georges Bank Scallops. Asana seats 90 and a chef's table seats as many as 10.

6. The Nantucket

The Nantucket Hotel & Resort, originally built in 1925, reopened its grand ballroom in July after completing renovation. The space keeps its 19th century architectural-style exterior and incorporates modern touches with high ceilings and Broadway-style, multicolored lighting option. The 3,090-square-feet ballroom receives 300 and seats 250. It is equipped with an LCD projector, drop down screen, and a sound system.

7. The Alley Bar at Rowes Wharf

Located between the harbor and Atlantic Avenue, The Alley Bar at Rowes Wharf in Boston Harbor Hotel offers an al fresco cocktail retreat. The bar is outfitted with high-top tables and oversized black wicker bar stools. During the summer months, the space can seat 60.

8. Newton Crowne Plaza

The Newton Crowne Plaza completed renovations to its meeting rooms, all 270 guest rooms, corridors, pool, and fitness center and plans to finish renovations to its ballroom, lobby, and restaurant/bar early next year.

Receiving a $13 million renovation, Sheraton Needham Hotel features a new lobby café and lobby bar offering Link @ Sheraton with Microsoft. Another addition to the hotel is the 2,500-square-feet Junior Ballroom with a contemporary décor. A total of 14 meeting rooms offer wireless high-speed Internet.

3. Fairmont Copley Plaza

Fairmont Copley Plaza recently completed a $20 million renovation in July along with the opening of OAK Long Bar + Kitchen. The renovation is part of the hotel's centennial celebration and boasts newly restored guestrooms, suites, and a 5,600-square-feet lower lobby meeting space. OAK Long Bar + Kitchen features vaulted ceilings and a contemporary oak palette, and serves a farm to table inspired American menu.

9. GLO at the Pool Night Club at Mohegan Sun

Nearby Boston, Mohegan Sun launched GLO at the Pool night club in June. It features four cabanas for bottle service, fire pits, and cash bars. Located on the third floor of the hotel, a poolside terrace adjacent to the pool is available adjacent. The space can accommodate 450.

10. Emerald Lounge at Revere Hotel

Opened in June, Emerald at Revere Hotel is available for buyouts accommodating 240 guests. Upstairs, a private bar can be partitioned with a retractable wall for up to 100 people. Ruby, a hidden bar within Emerald, also boasts a capacity of 30 people with a private bar.
