The 150-room Fairmont Battery Wharf opened its doors on the historic Boston Waterfront last December. Bordering the North End, the hotel is nestled among the warehouses and shipyards that constituted Boston’s first neighborhood.
The harbor-view property has 6,000 square feet of meeting space spread across nine rooms. When combined, the three primary spaces—Old North Boardroom, Old North Skylight, and Constitution Ballroom—can seat 250 people. The rooms are located on the ballroom level with elevator access between floors.
The 480-square-foot Old North Boardroom and 810-square-foot Old North Skylight are joined by glass doors with translucent green curtains. The boardroom seats 20 in elegant red chairs surrounding a Makore Fiddleback wood table. Skylight, a marble-floored space beneath a skylight dome, accommodates 50.
Nearby Constitution Ballroom is the largest single event space in the hotel. At 1,800 square feet, the ballroom seats 140 or holds 240 for receptions. The room has contemporary decor with textured stainless-steel chandeliers and can be subdivided.
All three main event spaces are equipped with sound equipment, laptop connectivity, and LCD projectors. Smaller groups can dine at Sensing, the hotel’s French-inspired restaurant developed by Michelin three-star chef Guy Martin.
