For a less traditional—but still cozy—take on holiday decor, staffers can set up a whitewashed farm table with distressed wood Chiavari chairs, accented with fluffy shag rugs and throws.

Boston-based wine brand 90+ Cellars is offering a collection of six holiday wines. Wrapped in festive packaging, the gift set includes prosecco, Reisling, cabernet sauvignon, and more. Pairing suggestions, tasting notes, and recipes are included, and the package sells for $60 a pop.

Groups can rent out the new Urban Grape boutique for holiday wine tastings. The sleek spot in the South End can host gatherings for 20, and staffers provide samples of wine, beer, sake, and spirits. The base cost for the tastings is $150 per hour, in addition to the cost of product.

Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse prepares Feast of the Seven Fishes dinners for private corporate groups. Based on an Italian holiday tradition, the meal pairs seafood dishes like lobster ravioli with wine and can be served in the restaurant's private dining rooms or in a larger adjacent atrium.

The Verve—Crowne Plaza is offering an Around the World package for its holiday parties this year. The package includes food stations offering hot or cold hors d'oeuvres paired with wine, beer, or scotch and vodka cocktails. Each station is manned by a sommelier, and the stations can be customized to project corporate logos or video reels. The package costs about $99 per person.

Broadway Gourmet Caterers' Winter Frolic package displays snacks on reflective white and blue tables that can be set up at offices or event spaces. One of the tables, called the Bubble Bar, uses clear, round ornaments to hold individual winter squash, pear-arugula, and winter farro salads. Legal Sea Foods, which can host private holiday parties at all of its Boston-area locations, has a new menu of seasonal cocktails. Wintry options on the Highball menu include a Moscow Mule and the Ginger Mac, made with whiskey, lemon, cinnamon, Marie Brizard apry, and ginger beer. Other seasonal drinks include the vodka-based Cranberry Bog and the Pomegranate Lemon Drop.

Local catering company Treats on Washington provides lavish dessert spreads that can be delivered to meeting and event spaces. Seasonal pie flavors include bourbon-pecan, pumpkin mousse, and sweet potato. Other seasonal dessert offerings include apple-cider beignets with caramel dipping sauce, gingersnap macaroons with spiced-pumpkin filling, and salted-caramel popcorn balls.
