5 New Venues in Boston for Fall 2020 Meetings and Events

Boston's newly opened spaces for hosting meetings and events this fall.

October 2, 2020

Here's a look at Boston's new spaces open for events this fall. The new and renovated Boston venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.

A note regarding COVID-19: At BizBash, we're still committed to bringing you ideas and inspiration for when (yes, when!) events are back up and running. Some of the venues listed here may not yet be available for hosting events due to the pandemic, or they may be operating at a lower capacity.

Giusto
Giusto
Part of the Hammetts Hotel as of last month, Giusto is a 6,600-square-foot restaurant serving “freestyle Italian.” A 3,400-square-foot interior dining room welcomes 78 seated guests, or 160 standing. A 400-square-foot private dining room accommodates 14 seated guests, or 20 reception style. A sprawling 2,800-square-foot patio overlooking the Newport waterfront welcomes 100 seated guests, or 200 standing. Available for full and partial buyouts, the restaurant can also partner with the hotel for additional space.

Bianca
The 3,090-square-foot Bianca restaurant, which is set to open this fall, is the highly anticipated new spot from Nancy and Tim Cushman, known for beloved venues like O Ya and Hojoko. Serving up wood-fired pizza, handmade pastas, and signature sandwiches, Bianca is a family-friendly spot that can accommodate as many as 200 seated guests or 250 for a reception-style event. This includes the 450-square-foot private dining room (shown here), which has full audiovisual capabilities and can accommodate as many as 32 seated guests or 30 standing. Inside Bianca is also Mr. Roni Cups, a Roman-style pizzeria and takeout market serving everything from wood-fire rotisserie to sushi and classic cocktails.

It has full audiovisual capabilities, including two flat-screen smart TVs. Bonus: There’s also a 1,928-square-foot bar on the second floor that welcomes 86 standing guests, or 60 for a seated event. For warmer weather, a 1,031-square-foot deck accommodates 40 seated guests or 59 standing. The first floor of The Shed will be home to Gilson’s Cafe Beatrice, also set to open Oct. 15.
