* INCOMING *

1. OPRAH'S BIG EVENT: Yesterday was the taping of the two next-to-last episodes of "The Oprah Winfrey Show." The Hollywood Reporter has exhaustive details, including: "Between each celeb guest or performance, a video broadcast on three giant screens in the United Center, where the Chicago Bulls normally play. Videos ranged from Oprah's most memorable moments ('You get a car!') to embarrassing bloopers (awkwardly dancing with MC Hammer) to skits with celebs like Tina Fey and Steve Carell."

More from The New York Post: "The show came to a spectacular end when Tom [Cruise] and Katie [Holmes] introduced Rascal Flats, and 20,000 LED finger-lights—every audience member got one—lit up as they sang the big tear-jerker, 'I Won't Let Go.'"

2. L.A.'S GROWING SCREENINGS: The Hollywood Reporter (also) looks at the changes to the "L.A. Screenings," when 1,500 foreign TV program buyers arrive to view the shows chosen by the U.S. networks (and announced in New York during Upfront Week). "It used to be kind of this stately march where you stared out with the Canadians one week, then the Europeans for a week and then Latinos for a week. Nobody was in a rush," said Marion Edwards, Twentieth Century Fox's president of international television. "Now everybody comes in for a week, and you screen for seven days, which are incredibly busy." While major companies hold screenings on studio lots, much of the activity is centered at the Hyatt Century Plaza and the Intercontinental Hotel.

3. VIRAL ARCHIVE: Looking for ideas for branded content that will get noticed? Brooklyn-based Lucky Branded Entertainment has curated "The Viral Collection," a database of 500 videos and "a research tool for marketers and creatives who want to a one-stop-shop where they can see what works–and what doesn’t–in the genre," says Adweek. "Users can search, or sort by industry category, and view alongside basic stats like number of views and comments, as well as a rating and description written by Lucky."
