The Society of Incentive Travel Executives gave its annual Crystal awards at a BiZBash-sponsored ceremony Monday night at the Hyatt Hotel in Chicago. Nominees for the best special event held during an incentive program included a murder mystery in Dublin and a cocktail party on the Great Wall of China. The winner: Amnon Ben-David of Eshet Incentives & Conferences in Tel Aviv, Israel, for a re-creation of the history of Jerusalem, played out on the walls of King David's palace, for client Elar Partners. Second place went to Penny Wing of San Diego's Incentive Travel Inc. for a Napoleonic Ball staged in a French country chateau for CBS television stations.
