San Diego's Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina will unveil a $65 million makeover in a ceremony on Friday.
The 430-room waterfront hotel has added an eco-friendly spa, three new swimming pools with waterslides, and a fitness center. A new waterfront restaurant, Red Marlin, features fresh California cuisine from chef Danny Bannister and offers a variety of private dining options. Swim, a cool poolside lounge, is also new; it offers heated outdoor patio seating, a specialty cocktail menu, and dishes with pan-Latin inspirations.The hotel has Wi-Fi in all public areas, a full-service business center, a meeting concierge, an on-site audiovisual team, and 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space. New executive meeting rooms feature built-in audiovisual equipment and high-speed Internet access.
