KNR Restaurant Group, the company behind fellow Miami Beach eatery Metro Kitchen + Bar, teamed up with twin chefs Nicola and Fabrizio Carro (who are cooking for the first time in the United States) to open Quattro Gastronomia Italiana. Scheduled to open its door in early July, the restaurant will serve traditional fare from Northern Italy as well as monthly tasting menus that will focus on specific regions of the country. Quatrro will seat 160 patrons: 80 in the main dining room and another 80 in an outdoor patio overlooking Lincoln Road. Studio A Design was procured to fill the space with contemporary furnishings. The walls will feature large framed mirrors and sconces. Other highlights include a mirrored bar flanked by wine refrigerators that will house a variety of wines (all from Italy, of course). Seating will be a combination of comfy banquettes and wooden chairs with beige cushions.
