Earlier this month, the 236-room South Beach Marriott appointed Peggy Benua, an 18-year hospitality veteran, as its new general manager. An FIU Hotel and Food Service Management alumnus who formerly worked as the resident manager for Eden Roc Renaissance Resort & Spa in Miami Beach, Benua will now oversee all operations occurring within this boutique beachfront paradise.
