Karu & Y Takes a Break

Closing its doors from August 27 through September 13, Karu & Y, a multimillion-dollar restaurant and event space, will use those few weeks of summer—which are also, not coincidentally, the hospitality industry's slow period—to train new employees, perform some annual deep maintenance, and allow their staff to enjoy a vacation or just relax for a couple of weeks.
