From the mind of Jose Luis Esteve, the man who created Best of the Spain, comes a second restaurant—this one, in the heart of Coconut Grove. Ideas is a 60-seat modern dining room with an open kitchen, decorated in warm colors with floor-to-ceiling drapes, marble tiled floors, and a chef's table. The dishes, prepared by chef Alvaro Beade, use only the freshest ingredients and reflect traditional and contemporary Spanish cuisine. Every day, a fresh Mediterranean seafood selection is offered in a three-course executive menu, which costs $19.95. The venue also provides a monthly gastronomy week, which showcases the various regions of Spain.
