Raising the Bar

Founded two years ago by a local veteran bartender in Miami, Ronen Bar and Furniture Rental (786.303.1608, www.ronenrental.com) has created a user-friendly custom-design Web site feature that allows clients to design their own portable bars. Customers can mix and match different colors, textures, and materials for both the body and top of the bar, to give it its own style matching the theme of an event. White leather, glass mosaic, green grass, and bamboo are among the options. The standard-size bar is five and a half feet long and four feet high, and contains one four-and-a-half-foot shelf. Rental prices range from $200 to $400 for in-house designs. Depending upon materials and labor, branding and other customization is priced on a case-by-case basis. The bars can be made within one to three weeks.
