New Convention Center for Palm Beach County

Palm Beach County commissioners recently approved a proposition that will bring a new convention center to the county. The project should start construction in April and will create a 23-story Westin hotel with approximately 400 rooms. Ocean Properties Ltd., who will purchase the property at market value after the county's 99-year ownership term expires, will build the new venture.
