To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Art Basel Miami Beach, the Sagamore unveiled a giant installation by New York-based artist Will Ryman. The piece, titled "65th Street," is set on the hotel's beachfront and is composed of four pink and red flower buds, ranging from five to 10 feet in diameter. The tallest of the four stems features an aphid and beetle. Like most of Ryman's sculptures, "65th Street" is made of stainless steel, yacht-grade fiberglass resin, and brass. The exhibit is one of many the Sagamore is hosting this year in conjunction with the Paul Kasmin Gallery.
