1. SwimShow
The global trade show SwimShow brings together more than 7,500 buyers, manufacturers, designers, stylists and others to the Miami Beach Convention Center. For nearly four decades, the show from the Swimwear Association of Florida has featured swimwear, beachwear, resort wear, lifestyle, men’s, children’s, and accessories. In addition to the rows of colorful booths, the show's programming at the show includes runway shows and presentations, educational seminars, and nightly activations. 2. Paraiso
Designed as a multi-day, experiential fashion fair, Paraiso featured more than 30 swimwear runway shows, red carpets, pool parties, and more. Events were held throughout Miami Beach, including at the double-decker Paraiso Bungalow in Collins Park, which hosted programming such as a brunch and panel on the state of influencer marketing. 3. Miami Fashion Week
In 2019, the five-day Miami Fashion Week presented 2020 resort collections from designers such as Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, RR by Rene, Daniella Batlle, Glory Ang, Vero Diaz, and Herminas Reea. The Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism sponsored a runway show with Dominican designers Giannina Azar, Jenny Polanco, Arcadio Díaz, Jacqueline Then, and Monica Varela. The actor Antonio Banderas, who is Miami Fashions Week´s honorary president, hosted the organization's annual charity gala, which supports Nicklaus Children's Hospital Foundation, and he will return in 2020. Kimpton Epic Miami was the headquarters hotel while runway shows took place at Ice Palace Film Studios.
