Following the V.I.P. reception, the event hit full throttle, as guests wandered throughout the two floors of the theater sampling more than 150 of the world’s finest wines, presented by Universal.
In addition, signature recipes from a selection of CityPlace’s restaurants were available for guests to enjoy. Participating restaurants included Blue Martini West Palm Beach, Brewzzi, City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill, Columbia Restaurant, Il Bellagio, Jinja Bar & Bistro, Legal Sea Foods, Mark’s CityPlace, Saito’s Japanese Steakhouse, Starbucks, Taverna Opa, and Continental Catering.
“The evening is a wonderful opportunity for guests to become familiar with all of the exciting new restaurants and retailers our property has to offer,” said Edan Della Mea, CityPlace’s director of marketing.
In fact, many guests lined up to sample Blue Martini’s signature wasabi tea martinis, made with wasabi-infused vodka. The bar also hosted the event after-party.
The Raquel Williams Band performed Jazz tunes throughout the evening, while strolling models showcased the latest fashions from CityPlace retailers.The American Culinary Federation, Palm Beach Chapter’s Michael Jasa was responsible for the one-of-a-kind ice sculpture that served as the evening’s centerpiece.
A silent auction was also held, with items including a yearlong membership to the Palm Beach Yacht Club and a half-day fishing trip for four. Proceeds from the auction benefited the West Palm 100, a social and civic organization of young professionals dedicated to supporting the children and families of West Palm. This year, West Palm 100’s sister charity is the Lord’s Place, a nonprofit organization that helps homeless families make a new beginning.
