New and renovated nightclubs are popping up all around Miami. Here’s a look at three downtown, Brickell, and Miami Beach clubs available for groups of 80 to 350.
1. After closing in September for renovations, Mokai reopened downtown in March as the newest addition to nightlife conglomerate the Opium Group. The 4,000-square-foot club is now outfitted with red sofas, black walls, red lattice detailing, and custom chandeliers. The club’s open layout can accommodate groups as large as 270 for buyouts.
2. In February Brix 46 Lounge became the latest addition to the burgeoning Mary Brickell Village dining and entertainment complex near Miami’s financial district. The 1,250-square-foot lounge has an open layout that can accommodate as many as 200 people amid dark wood tables and brown leather couches. The venue also has a full menu of American and Mediterranean dishes for late-night dining (until midnight on weekends) and entertainment Thursday through Saturday.
3. New Miami Beach nightspot Pinkroom opened on Washington Avenue in May after a nearly two-month delay. The 4,300-square-foot club is decorated with pink lighting, furnishings, and decor accents throughout. The main room can accommodate as many as 350, with two mezzanine levels for groups of about 80 each. Additionally, inspired by its name and decor, the venue donates a portion of its regular proceeds to breast cancer research charities.
