The Webster transformed the first floor of its boutique into a Surf the Webster pop-up shop with surf boards, surf and swim apparel, and quotes from South Beach surfers on the walls. The shop opened July 15 and will run through the end of summer.

The W South Beach hosted a private dinner for 35, coordinated by Harrison & Shriftman, in its penthouse on July 16 to honor its new Puerto Rico property, the global fashion director of W Hotels, and swimwear designer Melissa Odabash, who hosted a fashion show in the hotel's Great Room earlier that evening.
