The Regency Hotel Miami, a hotel property five minutes from Miami International Airport, underwent a renovation late last year. Part of the makeover included the addition of new indoor and outdoor event spaces for meetings and cocktail receptions.
The hotel now has five spaces to host functions. The 4,000-square-foot Deck is a poolside space that can accommodate as many as 100. The outdoor area has direct access to a retreat indoors through the adjacent Gables room, which is made up of 1,200 square feet of meeting space. The Gables room has high ceilings, black-and-white photography, and room for 170 guests for a reception. For a larger group, the 5,550-square-foot Le Club venue holds 320 guests and is outfitted with advanced sound capabilities and acoustics, computerized lighting schemes, a stage, DJ booth, and bars.
For more intimate gatherings and seminars, the boardroom provides 180 square feet of conference style seating for as many as 10 guests. The room is equipped with a 42-inch LCD TV with Web connectivity and multiple data ports. The 800-square-foot Le Jeune room is also available for meetings with seating for 70.
The Regency Hotel Miami also offers a business center, complimentary Wi-Fi, and an on-site restaurant that has various catering options. The $750,000 renovation also included an update to the lobby and guestrooms.
