1. Miami Beach Convention Center Hall D

Planted at the north end of South Beach, the Miami Beach Convention Center is a local staple known for hosting some of Miami’s most notable annual events, from the Miami International Wine Fair to Art Basel Miami Beach. Hall D is 132,990 square feet, and welcomes 13,300 guests in reception or theater-style.

2. Ice Palace Studios

Located in downtown Miami, Ice Palace Studios is a 143,000-square-foot property that can assemble 10,000 people. During season, Ice Palace Studios takes on large events for Art Basel and Winter Music Conference, in addition to birthday parties, celebrity events, weddings, fashion shows, and corporate events. Most recently, the space was rented out as a rehearsal area, film crew space and set for the upcoming Tom Cruise film Rock of Ages.

3. Arnold Hall & Coliseum at the Miami-Dade County Fair Expo Center

Though its famous for attracting tens of thousands of guests for the annual fair, the Miami-Dade County Fair’s Expo Center is open year-round. With five event spaces on the 86-acre property, the 77.940-square-foot Arnold Hall & Coliseum is most popular for its car shows, food festivals, trade shows and pet shows, which can cater to 7,460 visitors.

4. Palm Beach County Convention Center

Grand Ballrooms A&B at the Palm Beach County Convention Center jointly hold 6,808 people in a theater-style setting, or up to 3,371 when separated. The connected space, which regularly hosts banquets, seminars, and awards ceremonies, equals 99,330 square feet.

5. Westin Diplomat’s Great Halls

Located just steps from Hollywood Beach, the Westin Diplomat is home to six Great Halls that can be combined to accommodate up to 5,000 people for a reception or 2,800 for a banquet. Together, the Great Halls total 50,100 square feet and can be separated for smaller events.

6. Riverfront Hall

Part of the James L. Knight International Center and the Miami Convention Center, Riverfront Hall is a 28,000-square-foot space, and is capable of anchoring 4,667 guests for banquets, conference suites, hospitality functions, or exhibitions and is operated by the City of Miami.

7. Fort Lauderdale Convention Center Hall A

Home to our recent BizBash Expo & Awards and other annual trade shows and exhibits, the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center sits next door to Port Everglades. Hall A can service a banquet of 4,500 invitees in its 64,887-square-foot space, which is working toward its Silver LEED Certification from the U.S. Green Buildings Council.

8. The Moore Building

An architectural work of art, The Moore Building is located in Miami’s booming Design District (shown here with styling by Petit Pois Catering & Design). A former furniture showroom built in 1921 for Moore and Sons, the historic space stretches 28,600 square feet, and accommodates 4,400 guests for receptions. It's particularly known for social events, weddings, fashion shows, private dinners, and elite awards receptions.

9. Legends Ballroom at Doral Golf Resort & Spa

A Marriott property, the Doral Golf Resort & Spa is famous for its PGA Golf Course. The luxury property’s Legends Ballroom is a prime location for meetings and social events, including destination weddings, private dinners, themed galas, fundraisers, and corporate meetings. The 24,079-square-foot ballroom can be divided into 12 smaller spaces. It can seat 4,200 people theater-style, or 3,500 guests at a reception.

10. The Fillmore Miami Beach

The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater has earned a reputation for bringing hot musical acts and theatrical shows to Miami Beach. The signature theater can also transform its space for events, including weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, award shows, corporate parties, conferences, fundraisers, video shoots and product launches. The seated theater capacity at the Fillmore Miami Beach is 2,462, and the venue can fit up to 2,713 at a reception. In addition, the orchestra pit can fit 392 people at table rounds without compromising the stage. The three-tiered orchestra pit contains removable seats and high-tech sound and lighting. Three floors of lobby space and a VIP room can also accommodate pre-party festivities or a cocktail hour.
