Here's a closer look at Nashville's newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this fall. The new and renovated Nashville venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.
Layer Cake Social Kitchen

Dallas-based Milkshake Concepts, which runs Citizen, Stirr, and Vidorra, opened Layer Cake Social Kitchen in June. The Instagrammable, four-level spot can be booked for swanky private parties and events. The ground floor boasts interactive surprises and wow-worthy cocktails in a space that can accommodate up to 150 for seated events or 250 for receptions. The second-floor dining room is a full-service experience for up to 250, complete with a curated menu featuring options like the bourbon sriracha-glazed salmon, a 30-ounce tomahawk steak, and the west creek double-cut pork chop, not to mention an innovative cocktail and wine list. For an open-air soirée with a full F&B menu, consider the rooftop, which can hold up to 180 seated or 400 revelers for a reception with stunning views of the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium. The invitation-only Cherry Lounge is a hidden space within Layer Cake Social Kitchen for up to 85 seated diners or 150 standing VIPs.

Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences

The highly anticipated Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville will start accepting reservations for stays on Nov. 1. Located in the SoBro neighborhood, the hotel boasts 235 guest rooms and suites and is just steps from Nashville's hip music scene. But guests don't need to be so quick to leave the property—on-site, there's 25,000 square feet of event space on the fifth floor, which overlooks Cumberland River, Riverfront Park, and downtown Nashville, and is suitable for extravagant galas to corporate meetings. The 10,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, meanwhile, boasts 20-foot ceilings and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests theater style, or 520 in a classroom configuration. For mid-sized gatherings, consider the 2,928-square-foot SoBro Ballroom with expansive windows and breathtaking views of Nashville’s South of Broadway area, accommodating 60 guests in a U-shaped arrangement or up to 270 in a theater-style arrangement. The property also has an elegant, full-service spa with six treatment rooms where intimate groups can enjoy massages or facials and sit in a relaxation lounge while mingling over champagne and canapés between treatments. Also offered is a 24-hour fitness center conceptualized by celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, a resort-like rooftop pool with a deck, and Mimo Restaurant and Bar, which serves up Italian cuisine with a Southern spin.

The Rutledge at Four Seasons Nashville

The Rutledge opened its second location in June on the ground floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Nashville. Similar to its first location in Franklin, Tenn., the high-energy, 13,000-square-foot spot is artistic in its design, featuring contemporary works by RETNA, Mr. Brainwash, Alec Monopoly, and Terry O'Neill. The swanky spot is serving up brunch, dinner, and late-night bites, and highlights include lobster bites, shishito peppers seared with Himalayan sea salt, and steak rolls with chimichurri sauce. Entree choices, including salads, seafood, sushi, burgers, bone-in ribeyes, and roasted prime rib fill out the rest of the menu. Also offered are a selection of craft cocktails, including espresso martinis and a house old fashioned, as well as a variety of wines by the glass or bottle.

1 Kitchen

1 Kitchen opened within the 215-room 1 Hotel Nashville, which belongs to a collection of sustainable luxury lifestyle hotels operating in upscale locations from South Beach to Manhattan. This hotel—the eighth 1 location globally—opened in downtown Nashville in July, boasting a private event space, Crossvine, and its signature restaurant, the 2,400-square-foot 1 Kitchen, located on the hotel's ground floor. Helmed by culinary director and Top Chef alum Chris Crary, the eatery focuses on farm-to-table, seasonal cuisine such as macaroni and cheese arancini, an artisanal meat and cheese board, and a Nashville hot chicken sandwich, just to name a few. The restaurant can accommodate up to 300 guests for private events, and a 700-square-foot semi-covered outdoor patio can hold up to 60 guests. 1 Kitchen also has a 330-square-foot private dining room that can be used for intimate gatherings of up to 25.

Hotel Fraye Nashville

The ultra swanky Hotel Fraye Nashville, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, opened in Midtown on Aug. 18. The hotel has 200 guest rooms and features a lobby bar, restaurant, pool area with luxurious cabanas, and a fitness center offering the latest Peloton technology and yoga studio. The hotel boasts nearly 6,000 square feet of space for meetings and events, including a 3,000-square-foot ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and room for up to 275 guests. For a dining affair, an on-site restaurant, Gathre, serves modern American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while a seventh-floor rooftop bar and lounge, called Eddie Ate Dynamite, features live music every night and is perfect for post-meeting cocktails and networking.

Conrad Nashville

The 234-room hotel Conrad Nashville opened in July in Nashville's City Center, just steps away from Music Row. The Hilton property boasts more than 17,000 square feet of second-floor gathering space spread across 11 rooms, the largest of which is the 6,370-square-foot Conrad Ballroom, which can host up to 400 for banquets or 700 for receptions. Smaller meeting rooms include the 816-square-foot Adagio Boardroom, suitable for smaller meetings for up to 14 guests; the 868-square-foot Aria room for up to 24 for conferences; and the 540-square-foot Library for a reception of 15. The Conrad Nashville is also home to The Lounge at Blue Aster, which boasts a 2,500-bottle wine room. Meanwhile, Thistle & Rye on the third floor serves small plates with a cocktail-focused menu.

Tailor

Tailor, a South Asian dinner club, relocated to a larger location in Germantown on Aug 11. Helmed by chef Vivek Surti, the 2,000-square-foot, award-winning restaurant pays homage to his Indian heritage through Tailor's menu, where highlights include North Carolina catfish with cumin, black pepper, and garlic; and Kentucky Goat with biryani, saffron, rose, and brown onion. The restaurant—which was featured on Bon Appetit’s Hot 10 list of America’s best restaurants—is suitable for intimate gatherings of up to 40 guests. A dinner-party atmosphere is established through show-stopping decor pieces from Tailor's original location, including a large butcher block and a grand chandelier, a family heirloom from chef Surti’s childhood home.

Almost Friday Sporting Club

The 5,500-square-foot Almost Friday Sporting Club opened in downtown Nashville on the corner of 4th Avenue and Peabody Street on Sept. 24. Anderson Design Studio envisioned the space with a sophisticated twist on a sports bar, adding a slew of pop culture references and large TVs ideal for game day. Competitive groups can try their hand at games in the vintage gaming area, as well as an indoor/outdoor "Suckdown Station" bar, a dance floor, and a VIP room. Almost Friday Sporting Club can accommodate up to 155 guests for events.

Blue Aster

Blue Aster, which opened in May, is named after the Tennessee wildflower. The luxe restaurant—which features a farm-to-table concept of regional cuisine—is located within the Conrad Nashville hotel. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an atmosphere notable for its navy walls, plush blue and maroon-velvet seating, live greenery, and unique chandeliers. The menu focuses on a fresh selection of seafood and steaks, and the space allows up to 80 guests to enjoy the coastal cuisine. An outdoor space can accommodate up to 16.

Halls Chophouse Nashville

Halls Chophouse Nashville, which opened in May, is Hall Management Group’s first restaurant outside of South Carolina. The massive, 10,000-square-foot restaurant is located on the ground floor of the downtown Broadwest building, known for its condos, offices, and retail spaces. The patio boasts 2,500 square feet of space, and is situated on West End Avenue as part of the 1.5-acre Broadway plaza. Here, more than 300 guests can gather and dine on a menu that focuses on raw and chilled seafood, soups, and chops. Steaks are served with a variety of specialty sauce options, including béarnaise, house Worcestershire, peppercorn-brandy, red wine bordelaise, and a house steak sauce.
