49 Grove Has Old-Fashioned Ambience

49 Grove, the latest event space from Hamptons restaurateur Aram Sabet, is an elegant, old-fashioned lounge with modern touches. Once home to Halo lounge, the revamped venue is furnished with oversized sofas and velvet banquettes. Other decor features include dark woods, silver silk, shelves filled with leatherbound books, a champagne drinking fountain, and faux fireplaces. 49 Grove will serve a wide array of specialty drinks. The four-room space has a main bar, two lounges, and a private room, and the entire space holds as many as 300. —Anna Sekula
