Rockefeller Center Observatory to Reopen

An old view becomes new again this fall, when the observatory atop Rockefeller Center reopens after being closed to the public for 20 years. Tishman Speyer Properties announced last week that it will revitalize Top of the Rock, which occupies the highest six levels of the tallest building of the complex, plus a narrow terrace on top. The Grand Viewing Room, which has views to the north and south, the Weather Room, which overlooks the plaza, and the adjoining terraces will be available for events when the venue opens this fall.
