New Moynihan Station Will House Hotel, Event Space

Governor George Pataki and Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced Monday that Related Companies and Vornado Realty Trust will oversee the development of the $818 million project, which will primarily serve as an expanded passenger station for New Jersey Transit, Long Island Railroad, and Amtrak. Construction and renovation is scheduled to begin next year, with projected completion in 2011.
