Boudoir, a new 2,500-square-foot lounge in west Chelsea, opened quietly in December. The interior, designed by Daniel Upon, has rose petals scattered underneath a Lucite floor in the entrance, and crimson red walls offset by an ivory white floor in the main room. Furnished with antique Persian rugs, chandeliers, velvet drapes, carved wooden furniture, and vintage copper mirrors, the 85-seat space is softly lit by hundreds of votives hung from the ceiling. The entire space holds 300 for receptions.—Anna Sekula
