James Brady Acquires Studio 450

Studio 450—an all-white bilevel raw space in Midtown—has been bought by James Brady, owner of a collection of lofts including Loft Eleven, Penthouse 15, and the West Side Loft. Under its new ownership, the studio has shifted its main role from a photo studio to a ore event-friendly venue with extended viewing hours and setup time. Among the renovations are the removal of the cyclorama (which blocked some of the eastern-facing windows), additional lighting, new furniture, and the restoration of the rooftop area. In addition, Brady has sold James Catering to New Jersey restaurateur Albert Franco, allowing the company to focus on the management of the event spaces.
