Absolut took host Pharrell to Chinatown Brasserie for a pre-awards party to promote its Ruby Red flavor. Strategic Group handled the event production, lining the venue´s back bars with the vodka brand´s bottles and four-foot-tall vases holding grapefruits and pink and orange floral arrangements.
Parked alongside Absolout´s red carpet was a sundae truck, where guests, famous and nonfamous, were encouraged to indulge in ice cream topped with ruby red sprinkles.
Blender partnered with Glacéau Vitamin Water for its after-party at Tao, where MKG Productions produced a media lounge with a water wall fabricated by Readyset and furniture from
Taylor Creative.
Virgin Mobile´s Laura Jordan and Carter Angus put together an alternative to the week´s hip-hop-heavy lineup, with entertainment such as hipster DJ trio the MisShapes at its postshow bash at
Gotham Hall. (A pair of guys dressed as sumo wrestlers showed up on their own.)
Syndicate produced the Virgin Mobile party, which also featured a performance by the Rapture.
