Imagine a prom where all the kids have top-notch stylists, grown-up body shapes, and an apparently limitless clothing budget. That was the scene poolside at the Sunset Tower Hotel for Teen Vogue’s party celebrating its “Young Hollywood” issue, overseen by the mag’s editor in chief, Amy Astley, and produced by Rabin Rodgers. The space—already picturesque with Lucite railings revealing spectacular city views—got a chinoiserie garden party look with dozens of brightly colored lanterns strung over the pool, which was festively adorned with colorful floating rose petals. Joseph Free also provided an array of intact roses that dotted the space and filled vases near toile-covered lounging beds. New York’s club DJs du jour, the MisShapes, flew in to entertain the precocious guests—many of whom came with their parents—including celebs like Hilary Duff, Emmy Rossum, and (yawn) the omnipresent Hilton sisters.
