Lee Brian Schrager, founder and producer of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival and the New York City Wine & Food Festival shares his favorite places.

"Blackberry Farm, an oasis tucked away in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, features exquisite cuisine that manages to be both refined and rugged in the most relaxing of atmospheres."

"Just about anything can give me an event idea—a conversation, an article, a meal, an experience"

"Private dining rooms at the Forge. There are five to choose from, each with its own personality, but the Library is one of my favorites due to the impressive decor, including a 250-year-old crystal chandelier. Zuma [pictured] is a serene room for as many as 24 people with light-up bamboo walls, making for an elegant affair. Or the wine tower at DB Bistro Moderne, which is one of three private dining options here. It’s a great place for a smaller group and provides an intimate experience perfect for wine dinners."

"Bourbon Steak at Turnberry Isle. My team loves Michael Mina’s modern twist on the classic American steak house. They are always excited about the food, and it keeps their creative juices flowing."

"Soho House in Miami [pictured] has a great selection and a bar program that uses the freshest ingredients. Or Norwood in New York, which has three lounge bars that are perfect for sipping on a cocktail you know is made with care amid the hustle and bustle of the city."

"Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink in Miami has a comfortable atmosphere, the highest-quality food, and consistently good service—all things I feel are essential for a successful lunch meeting. Or the Standard Grill [pictured] in New York’s meatpacking district, which is anchored in the historic charm of the area and has a menu item to satisfy anyone’s taste."
