While it seems that venues regularly open and close in other neighborhoods (the Flatiron district, TriBeCa, and the Lower East Side appear to be the latest hot zones), the financial district doesn't always get its fair share of new shops, restaurants, bars, and hotels. With these luxury offerings nearby, is it surprising that the hospitality industry is catching on? Currently in the works for the area are a Haru and a W Hotel (not to mention the Museum of American Finance and the Sports Museum of America), with rumors of more on the way: Eater.com alleges that Philadelphia restaurateur Stephen Starr is working on a steak house with nightlife queen Amy Sacco.
