1. BUD LIGHT USES TINDER TO FIND GUESTS FOR WHATEVER, USA, EVENT: Bud Light is working with popular dating app Tinder to promote its upcoming Whatever, USA, campaign. Tinder users can enter a contest to win entry to Whatever, USA, a weekend-long pop-up with concerts and other activities. 2. DIOR CANCELS L.A. SHOW: After announcing it would present its Cruise show in Los Angeles in May, Dior is moving the show to Cannes. The fashion brand cited the availability of a high-profile venue in Cannes as the reason behind the switch. Louis Vuitton, another brand from luxury conglomerate Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, will continue its Palm Springs show as planned. Los Angeles Times: “Cannes has certainly been Dior’s game to lose for several years running now, with Raf Simons dressing dozens of leading ladies for the festival’s red carpets, including brand ambassadors Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard and Jessica Biel. ... It’s hard to conceive of Dior giving up that kind of spotlight, especially this year, when fashion competition at the festival is going to be even more fierce, now that Gucci and Saint Laurent parent company Kering have a five-year strategic partnership with the festival to host events with well-dressed celebs. In other words, Dior and LVMH need to bring out all they’ve got or risk being overshadowed.” http://lat.ms/1CaSpOT
