Get ready for autumn galas, meetings, cocktail parties, and more: Here’s a preview of the latest ideas for catering, rentals, teambuilding activities, and entertainment in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona.

This fall, AndyFood, a culinary studio in Scottsdale, will begin offering a new teambuilding class for as many as 36 people. The class, which focuses on how to cook paella, is customizable and can be tailored to each client's goals.

The Great Pho King food truck launched this summer and can be booked for private events of as many as 1,000 with advance notice. The French-Vietnamese menu features signature dishes like the King Crepe, a light rice flour crepe with Vietnamese spices, sauteed chicken, onions and bean sprouts over a bed of shredded lettuce, fresh herbs, cucumbers, pickled root vegetables, and sweet chili sauce.

Art of Merlot, an on- and off-site painting class, will begin hosting private events at Spark, a Scottsdale community and event center scheduled to open in September. The B.Y.O.B. events can accommodate as many as 100 people for an evening of painting instruction paired with wine.
