Kiehl's Since 1851 opened its first freestanding store in Virginia Tuesday with a 250-guest party at its Tysons Corner Center home. Mr. Bones, a replica of the skeleton that graced Doc Morse's original apothecary 161 years ago, made for a popular prop at the step-and-repeat.

Fans of the cosmetics and beauty products company stood in line an hour before the event to receive one of the 100 gift bags, which included a full-size Ultra Facial Cleanser and a lip balm. Design Cuisine catered the event, but since alcohol could not be served at the open event, guests sipped fresh-squeezed lemonade with mint. Georgetown Cupcake provided custom cupcakes, DJ Neekola handled the entertainment, and there was photography by Daniel Swartz and videography from Michael Woestehoff.

The evening benefited Newsbabes, a breast cancer charity founded by local anchorwomen. Chris Salgardo, Kiehl's president, presented a $5,000 donation to George Washington Universityโ€™s Mammovan founder, Dr. Rachel Brem.
